The industrial computed tomography system from YXLON entitled FF35 CT combines precision with versatility. It provides extremely precise inspection results for a wide range of inspection objects and tasks. Due to the large inspection envelope, the option to install a high-resolution transmission tube in addition to the high-performance directional tube head, as well as hybrid DR-CT inspection, this industrial computed tomography system is ideally suited for defect and material analyses, CT metrology and many other applications in research & development. The system is predominantly used in the automotive, electronics, aviation and medical technology industries.

Besides the extremely large inspection envelope and two X-ray tubes, the huge degree of flexibility exhibited by FF35 CT is maximized as a result of the focus-to-detector distance (FDD) of up to 1200 mm, and its field-of-view extension for large CT volumes.

The YXLON FF35 CT system is equipped with the new YXLON Geminy software and two monitors. They allow easy and intuitive smart-touch operation of the computer tomography system. Various user profiles provide any user – from an occasional operator to an experienced inspection expert – with an optimum and adjusted user interface for efficient and individualized inspection workflows. Remote monitoring and push messages enable the application user to monitor the system at a distance and notify the user as well, for example when an inspection scan is completed. This saves the operator time during everyday inspection work.
